Project Feature: RiverSouth

Located in our hometown of Austin, TX, RiverSouth is all about connection – of spaces, people and environment. Designed by the Beck Group, this award-winning Class A office space creates an elegant bridge between Austin’s downtown and South Congress districts and elevates the concept of work-play-live by connecting people via collaborative spaces. Located at 401 First Street in Austin, the RiverSouth overlooks Austin’s Park Shores to the north and Hill Country to the west, bridging the gap between Austin’s business and bustling music and nightlife scene, offering collaborative indoor and outdoor spaces, retail and office space, and an ideal proximity to downtown and Lady Bird Lake for commuters and outdoor enthusiasts.

The design mandate called for sustainable, smart, world-class design that translated into the selection of Sentech’s VetraFin-G structural glass entrance system. Spanning 65-feet across the main lobby building entrance, Sentech’s structural glass system embodies the essence of connection and sustainability.

RiverSouth is the first project delivered as part of Austin’s transformative South Central Waterfront District on the southern side of Lady Bird Lake. The 15-story building encompasses more than 350,000 square feet and includes 8 floors of office space with modern amenities, including a sky lounge, deck, fitness studio, ground-floor retail and restaurant spaces and is the first SmartScore Platinum certification in Texas.
